Brady Ward Enterprises, LLC DBA Brightly AI ("Brightly AI," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Brightly AI CRM platform at brightlyai.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.

By using Brightly AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, and billing information.

Google Calendar Data

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we access:

• Calendar events and availability (read and write)
• Your Google account email address

We use this data only to sync appointment scheduling within the Brightly AI platform. We do not sell, share, or use Google Calendar data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than providing the calendar sync feature you explicitly enabled. You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings → Integrations.

Contact and Lead Data

You may upload or enter contact information (names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses) for leads and customers as part of using the CRM. You own this data. We store and process it only to provide the service.

Communications Data

We store records of SMS and email messages sent through our platform for your records and to power AI conversation features.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you use Brightly AI, including pages visited, features used, and error events (via Sentry). This helps us improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Brightly AI platform
• Sync your calendar availability for appointment scheduling
• Send SMS and email communications on your behalf to your contacts
• Power AI-driven sales conversations and follow-ups
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Provide customer support
• Monitor for errors and security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data or your contacts' data to third parties.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

Brightly AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only access Google data necessary to provide the calendar sync feature
• We do not use Google data for serving advertisements
• We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you explicitly request support
• We do not transfer Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service
• We do not use Google data to develop, improve, or train AI/ML models

5. Data Sharing

We share your information with:

• Supabase — database hosting (PostgreSQL)
• Railway — backend infrastructure hosting
• Cloudflare — frontend hosting and CDN
• OpenAI — AI conversation processing (no PII is sent beyond what's needed for the conversation context)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Quo — SMS text message delivery
• Telnyx — SMS and voice communication (10DLC-registered messaging)
• Stripe — payment processing
• PostHog — product usage analytics
• Sentry — error monitoring

We may also disclose your information if required by law, to protect rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Contact and lead data is retained until you delete it or close your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data at rest and in transit, row-level security on our database, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@brightlyai.app.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Disconnect third-party integrations (e.g., Google Calendar) at any time
